A new theory from the right-leaning among us.
I was (humble brag) in St. Lucia for most of the last week (pinky up), so I kinda saw some of these stories and thought about them a little bit, but didn’t care that much, because I’d rather drink beer in a pool and go on hikes with a Welsh couple I met (checks notes for the term) “on holiday.” Now that I am back and dealing with the emotional gravitas of not being in the ocean three hours per day, I can dedicate a tiny bit of time to this.
Arguably two of the three most powerful men in America (or two of the top 20, let’s be honest) referenced this in the past week. First we had Elon Musk, probably on ketamine and wielding a chainsaw, talk about how we let comedy not be funny. Or, rather, the “libs” destroyed comedy:
