Hmm, Is Patrick Clancy A "Sympathetic Figure?"

On face, of course -- he lost his children. But should we stop and look deeper at this for one second?

Scroll into that photo above for a second. The two children are presently deceased, at the hands of the mother, who is paralyzed from the waist down after jumping out of a window after the murders. (A third child is also dead.) The father has since moved to NYC from Massachusetts and is generally attempting to blend into the background, despite one interview he gave to a co-worker for The New Yorker. This is the story of Lindsay Clancy.
