I am pretty solid on keeping up with true crime, but I had not heard of Tracy Nessl until yesterday while watching something on YouTube just after work. I will link said video later, but let’s get some basics going first. Tracy Nessl was 41. She came from a broken home herself, and did not conclusively know who her father was. She met a guy at some events in Soap Lake, Washington. He was 66. Both, I believe, were off recent divorces. They started dating and getting intimate. Only problem: in reality, her dad was his brother, so now she was sleeping with her uncle. Odd. They got married, and she seemed to have him on a hook, because within months of getting married, he was transferring millions of dollars worth of apple farm property over to her name.
At some point about two years into the relationship, they wanted a fresh start, so they moved to Belize and opened a bed and breakfast. Tim, the guy in this story (the uncle/husband, or “uncsband”), eventually became concerned about Tracy’s faithfulness and general wants/needs, so he was ready to pull back some of the real estate holdings. He was emailing with his adult kids from Belize, and then days later, he ends up dead on the back porch. Tale as old as time: Tracy claims it was suicide, Belize officials investigate, they can’t tell initially, etc, etc.
