Pregnancy Kink.

Not often discussed, but often very true.

I used to workout with this kid Kevin, who is now a local School Board representative near me. Nice enough guy. I’d even classify us as “friends bordering on really acquaintances” at one point. Anyway. Life is chapters, you know?

He had five kids, which probably helped him get onto School Board. One time we were working out, and he told me, “I was ready to wave the white flag at kid 3.” Well, at the time I was in the early stages of infertility stuff and I didn’t really want Kevin’s virility waved in my face, so I asked him, “Hey, like, aren’t there ways to stop at 3?” I think it rhymes with sah kect a me. He basically then admitted to me that his wife had a little bit of a preggers kink. Nice.

Now look, I ain’t talking about porn here. I mean women that love being pregnant and maybe/maybe not love the corresponding motherhood that typically (all love to the miscarriage and infertility crowd, I’m one of you) comes with pregnancy.

There is a very specific “I wanna be pregnaaaaaant” crowd that can kinda take or leave the drastically annoying parts of motherhood once the kid is Earth-side.

In a way, this is good: our fertility rate is falling, and long-term that threatens our species and our country. So pregnancy kink can be good for the goose and the gander long-term.

In another way, it’s bad, because typically (not always) this type of woman parents in a way that creates self-absorbed, bratty children who destroy Sephora at age 9, and we don’t need more of those, per SE.

So, there's good and there’s bad with it. And honestly, if a woman wants to have five kids and can afford five kids without draining resources and has the body and ability to have five kids, let her. Ain’t my biz.
