The Rise In Older Dads: What's It Mean?

An interesting, and perhaps relevant, sociological question.

I been chasing having a biological kid for over a decade now, so when I see trend lines about “older dads,” I smile and nod. Apparently, the over-50 dad set (upon first or second kid) is rising. It’s still not massive by any means; it’s like 1.3% of the fatherhood population, and the study is based on birth certificate data, which has limitations.
