This overlap is more crucial to realize than we admit.

I stole this above illustration from here, which is a decent column about trad-wives.

I’ve stunningly written about this trend about six times by now (I may have a problem), including asking whether Katie Britt was a trad-wife.

If you look at that New York Times article above, you get this paragraph:

Media Matters coded and analyzed 327 recommended videos after exclusively interacting with tradwife content and documented what happened. We found TikTok’s recommendation algorithm rapidly populated our F.Y.P. [For You page] with conspiracy theory content and fearmongering, which made up nearly one-third of all videos served to the F.Y.P.

This is a crucial point here. I think sometimes people assume “trad-wife” content is made for women, but it’s not really.
