Within there, you have two good quotes:
“Protecting your identity becomes more important than the truth.” This is said by a professor at Ole Miss, and, fun fact, I made out with her in 2002. HA!
“Various types of identities have become ‘stacked’ on top of people’s partisan identities. Race, religion and ideology now align with partisan identity in ways that they often didn’t in eras when the two parties were relatively heterogenous coalitions.”
I would generally agree with both quotes; written about that latter one too.
